Default German tuner, soon to release new products for F Type

Hi guys,
i think this is worthy of sharing with you. The German company known as PIECHA will be coming out with several new items for the F Type very soon. Engine software is just one of the many products. Here is what Piecha told me in the email.

" Dear Robert
actually we are designing and developing new products for the Jaguar
F-Type. They will be ready at the beginning of August and available by the end of August.
For the Engine software we now have new power kits for the 5.0 litre engine version.
We will update our homepage with our new products soon. "

I remain optimistic that these guys will offer our cars a good product.
Let's see ...

They've had F-Type products available for quite some time now. Their tuning technology for the 3.0 involving an add-on chip, has been to modify the output from various sensors to fake out the programming. This has some performance limitations and inherent risk associated with it. I would suggest sticking with ECM software for tuning purposes. Default Let's see ..

I'm curious to see if they release a similar version of the V6 power module for the V8 or if they came up with something entirely different and new. Generally speaking, Germans usually come up with good quality stuff. Time will tell.

Just don't be the guinea pig, we've seen how well that's worked out for people here.

No way I'll get something if I'm sure 100% sure it's compatible with the engine. I'm being honest with myself, i cant afford to buy a new engine if mine goes BOOM ! I dont have FU money to throw away.

its not cool when a person makes false remarks, saying I've mentioned the company's new products or modds a THOUSAND TIMES.
Really .....
I'm not the one hitting the sauce.
Truthfully, those remarks were just rude and incorrect.

Yes, honestly i have no idea who you were commenting on and it seemed as though it was a message to me.
I have NEVER ... previously marketed, pushed or mentioned that company's tuning products prior to my original post. Okay, no worries. Sorry for any misunderstanding

I was commenting on SinF posting the Jaguar warranty agreement that's already been discussed at extreme length in just about every thread involving tuning. Everyone knows there are risks associated with tuning; we don't need the giant passive aggressive reminder in every thread. But this has already spiraled way out of control and trashed up the thread even further.

Now it makes sense. I now understand your post and agree, that issue is all over the forum. I do feel bad for the guy, but one should do full and complete research about the pros and cons of whatever he/she intends on doing to the car. If i ever promoted any tuner in the past, I've mentioned DINAN who is a trusted name in the tuning world. I had a M5 tuned by this company it it was flawless. If the tuning company doesn't have a multi million dollar R&D division, your rolling the dice with the fate of your car.

The only factual remark i can make about PIECHA of Germany is they have been in business for 35 years.
