Both will become louder with increased rpm, rod bearings a deeper and more rhythmical sound while timing chains will be higher pitched and more erratic.

Few if any reports of camshaft problems/noise on this engine and a few reports of tappet/lifter "rattle". That could be your noise but I doubt it.
If a timing chain is loose or maybe even broken then the timing will be out far enough to cause pistons to hit valves and that could be the cause of the noise.
If so the engine is toast!

if a valve is bend or damaged, it would be visible, right?

Most of us are quick to jump to a guess that any loud serious sounding noise from the engine bay is caused by some fault with internal engine part(s) but we often overlook the simple things like the ancillaries and their pulleys, belts and tensioners.
A stuffed AC compressor or alternator bearing can make a helluva racket!
