Getting ready to pull trigger
Hello guys. New member and looks like soon to be new F Type owner.
I went at my local Jag dealer, for the 50th time, and i am thinking of getting a 2015 they have in stock. White with the black tornado rims, vision pack, power lift gate, black pack, illuminated sills, heated windshield. It does suck that it does not have the apps pack.
MSRP is $106,375 and they are trying to sell is for $103,375. Can you guys share your experience and the prices you paid?
Thanks in advance for your help and congrats to the forum moderators for providing so much good material.
George.

I am assuming that is an R based on that price? My Jag dealership shaved $2000 off the price just because they knew me as a repeat buyer, if this is sitting on the lot I think you can probably do better. Also, don't fret the apps, I have it as I ordered it on my car and it is downright AWFUL. The other options you noted are very useful

Discount is good through 3/31/15...and is certainly money well spent!
Welcome and congrats..as was mentioned,no worries about the apps.
I personally think you can negotiate a far better deal on that car being that it's on the ground, offer them $10k off MSRP and see where the conversation goes...can't hurt to ask. $6k is probably more like it...$100k + fees should buy it.

I am a gadgets geek and i was concerned about not having the "apps". It is a big relief that everybody says they are not as good as i thought.
I was originally going to have a 2016 ordered, but as a car guy, i dislike the electric steering and i think the cosmetic changes for the 16 are not a step forward.
Thank you for the input.

I am going to throw the member discount in after securing the 1.9% apr. The 1.9% is standard for loans up to 60 months, but not for 72 mo.
Guys, thank you for the advise. I am not going to close an eye tonight)

I live in Nashville, TN. I am at 103k and the JNAO club president in Nashville IS FANTASTIC and gave me a membership number 2 hours after signing up.

I was able to negotiate a $3500 discount plus my $2500 JCNA for a total of $6k on an ordered car, you should be able to do better on a car that's been in inventory, especially if they've had to pay flooring on it already.

Just remember that the JCNA discount does not come from the dealers profit or effect the deal in any way,the $2500 comes from Jaguar...so no sense in using it as a negotiating tool...because it isn't. Think of it as the cherry on top after all is said and done and you've made your best deal.

Thank you so much for this bit of info. It might apply to my order.
