Default Going in for 1st service- what should I not do

I all. I am going in for 1st service and have asked for the following items to be corrected.

Fuel Filler
Stereo update
Incontrol update

Dealer mentioned the canister repair, I recall some folks didn't like the results.

What else should I do not do?

I don't think there were any bad results. Just a number of us worried about potential rattling developing after they R&R the panels behind the seats.

Are you taking it to Livermore? The team is pretty good. I like them.

The only caveat is the loaner system. You go through enterprise, who is offsite and may or may not have a jag to loan. I'm closer than you, so I uber home. For me, it's worth the money not to have to deal with the loaner.

Oh ya.. agree with the "no wash".

Nope no more Livermore service, those guys messed up the oil change and had no idea how to solve the rubbing panels. I am going to Cole European in Walnut Creek, they are giving me a car too.

Yea car wash, good one!

I had the canister repair done at Cole. No rattles, tool marks or misaligned joints. I spoke for some time with the head mechanic and begged him to be careful. He said he had done many of these. He also told me about someone with a manual coupe who took him on a scary ride trying to show him that there might be s problem with the clutch. He said he has not found any clutch problems yet. The service manager actually drove my car into the garage because he didn't trust the wash boys with a manual. Great service and a Discovery loaner.

If so, he never tested an early production model.

In my case, the second time I brought it in for that issue, it was the mechanic that took me for a scary ride. Had visible smoke billowing from under the car after the first launch. The engine never got the chance to hook up with the transmission.

Coz most dealers have no idea how to wash or clean a car without scratching the bejeebuz out of it.

I feel your pain, I took my car to Rusnak on Monday with 1000 miles on the clock to address a few small issues and they gave me a 4cyl XE loaner, it so boring compared to the F-type, I cant wait to get my car back!

My car sat for a week at my dealer, when they were waiting for some sort of specialist. Of course, they didn't tell me what was going on.
