Was pleasantly surprised to see Jason Statham pull away in a white F-Type coupe in the latest installment. Too bad that was the only time we see it.

Yes, this is correct. It appears that British villains do drive Jaguars.

I just saw the movie, it was emotional throughout.

Just returned from the cinema tonight after seeing FF7 with my eldest daughter (16 year old petrol head in the making!)

Yes, I was also pleased to catch sight of the F Type, albeit just a fleeting glance. I spent the rest of the movie hoping it would make another appearance.

+1, LynxFX, on the bittersweet ending. Very sad.

Had the F Type R on display at a Furious 7 Charity Car Show last weekend here in Melbourne, with some of my friends from the car club. Cody Walker, Paul's brother was there, who we met the following day - he was an absolute gentleman.

This last photo is my daughter with two of my friends that own Lambo's. She spent much of the day touring around in them - she's already moved on from the Jag, I fear!

At least she's moving in the right direction... Better than moving to a Ford or Chevy...

Gorgeous car, beautiful daughter, and a damned good looking license plate Oz!!! (Love the plate and the letter and numbers you have on it; is that what we here call a vanity plate?).

Now if the States had the same size/style plate I might actually run one. But they don't so the point is moot!

Best regards,
Jay

Thanks, Jay.

Yes, that's one form of custom plate we have here. It's called slimline Euro style. The V is for the state of Victoria where I live. However this plate is actually from my previous car, the RS5. The 4 "O"'s were a play on the 4 Audi rings.

I'm actually expecting my new plate to arrive in the next week or two... V8JAG

Unfortunately they won't issue it in slimline though. Que sera.

S#%^!

Naturally I respect whatever your decision BUT if I had your "slimline" plate - love that! - and that great letter/number combination - love that! - personally I don't think I'd change a damned thing.

But, car and the daughter (and not in that order) trump any plate.

Best regards,
Jay

P.S. Would be nice if we had the option for a "slimline" plate, but we're not exactly known for our slimness.

Oz,

Those are beautiful shots of your car, which show off the classic and tasteful design.

Jay,

Take note of the above. "Bling" is what his lovely daughter is standing between in the shot above. The F-Type is about something quite different.

She's turning 16 next week and getting her car Learners Permit - gulp! I'll be giving the speed limiter in the Jag a good work out!
