Getting it all fueled up for the first time. Anyone recommend a good sunblock and radar detector?

Very beautiful...nice wheels! Get yourself a CTEK battery maintainer: these cars like full battery voltage all the time.

Congratulations! She's a beauty and in the special class of the discontinued V8 RWD version.
When you get a break, read through the "How To" sticky for lots of tips and advice (including how to set up a CTEK mentioned above).

So, how long did it take for a random stranger to pay you a compliment?

Congrats. Looks incredible....Don't mod it. It is already traction limited anyway. Adding more power essentially does nothing except making the tires slip more.......unless you are going 130 mph.

Nice! Though I may be biased on that particular trim level.

Semper Fi !

Well on the first short drive two people in a tesla rode up on me trying to figure out what I was driving.....
The next day the wife and I pulled into a place to eat and got the compliment "nice car"
Then a lady at the post office stopped crossing the parking lot, backed up waited for me (about 100 yards away) just to say "shes a beauty!"
Then the SS Camaro I was behind on a onramp gunned it through the meter light but I didn't take the bait lol...

I do notice cars on the freeway slowing down around me or speeding up as I pass. We just don't have that many around here and when you're barking this loud....

One accessory I would recommend - get a "Smart Top" module. About $400, but might find one for less on eBay or the forum classifieds.

smartTOP

Open/Close your convertible top using the original factory remote control key / key fob.
"One-Touch" convertible top operation allows your top to open or close automatically.
Configure all functions of the module to meet your personal preferences via USB setup.
Turn the whole module off with an easy key sequence. Ideal when letting someone else drive your car.
Raise and lower the windows separately by remote without activating the top.
Turning the ignition on or off does not interrupt convertible top operation.
Direction of center console top switch can be changed to "pull to open" and "push to close".
Remove anytime allowing sale or return of a leased vehicle in it's original condition.
Custom designed plug-in-between wiring harness for extremely simple and quick installation included.
Can be configured and updated using any Mac or PC.

Great looking in silver! Which VAP tune did you go with and did you notice that much difference in hooking up the tires(like mentioned above about traction)

Doe's anyone else feel guilty about having this much fun in a car? lol

I just did the VAP ECU tune that takes you to 605 BHP, no pulley changes. I purposely chose a RWD rather than an AWD just to have the over powered get sideways drama, having said I don't think the handling has suffered you just get the extra punch as you get straight and accelerate. I'm also not trying to set any 0-60 or 1/4 mile records.

Don't feel guilty !! My biggest problem is that I will talk to anyone that shows the least bit of interest in the car and the advantage of parking at the far side of the parking lot is that you get to look at the car on the long walk !

My car is the same black as yours but I had it vinyl wrapped........

True color

Matte Grey Aluminium wrapped

I'll third it! Had a smartTOP module on my BMW convertible for years without any issues so it was the first thing I did on my F-Type--should be how the car comes from the factory. The remote roof operation is not quite as slick on the MY18+ but it still works, so yours being a '14 it will be a no-brainer. Once you have it you'll wonder why you waited so long.

Isn't everyone afraid of not having a warranty? I've seen some crazy repair bills around here for some people that have had major issues. I'm in the market right now, but I'm terrified about not having a warranty. I'd have a car by now if it wasn't for the warranty.

I don't have a warranty. Not saying it's not a good idea, but unless you can get CPO from Jaguar, 99% of third party warranties are not worth the paper they are written on.
