So I had my car on the dyno to establish a baseline. The mods on the car currently vap 200cel cats, lower pulley and vap tune.
Next dyno will be after the upper pulley gets swapped and the ported blower is installed and car is retuned.
I will post up those numbers.
Then after will retune for meth.
I was happy with the results and car seems to be right in line with hp figures that vap quotes for the current mods. It’s a 2014v8s.
Thank you to Stuart and everyone on this forum for all the help so far.
550 hp at the wheels? What is that, about 625 BHP? Nice jump from 495.
i would say it’s around there 610-625 Not sure exactly what the drivetrain loss is on the rwd f types, but I think most say around 10-12%. dyno numbers are a bit subjective and people will debate them all day long so I don’t want to claim anything specific. The car makes decent power as is, especially from where it was at stock power levels. And for the money spent so far I happy with the results. Really interested to see the delta between the hp figures of the upcoming modifications.
I don't imagine the upper pulley will do a whole lot. Porting and polishing is an art form and at the same time, I wouldn't think it would be a huge gain. I'm very interested to see what the meth injection does for you.

Agreed on the above. I’m not thinking I’ll gain much, if any peak power from the pulley or the port and polish. Hopefully a little more meat in the midrange.
The meth is definitely more promising. I really am pushing to tune the car on straight meth or like 20/80 water/meth instead of just using a 50/50 blend and utilizing it mainly for cooling, as most have done on this forum. There is always pros and cons, risk vs reward, in setting up the car this way. So I’ll just have to see what happens. Not going to be super aggressive but do want to push things a little. It’s also up to the tuner and what he is comfortable doing.
Very nice numbers! Curious, are you having any traction issues with that much power?
The stock pzeros were awful at even the stock power level so I changed them out when I changed my rims. My current set up runs 305/30/20 mich pilot sport 4s in the rear on farrada FR8 rims. It sticks pretty well on the street and I’m very happy with the performance on this set up.
