Default Got my F-Type!

Got my F-Type today!!! And I had to share that with the only other people that understand that feeling.... unfortunately got it out of state so I need to wait a week to actually get it. The wait is horrible.

2016 AWD S. White. With the black pack. Jet interior, red stitch. 20” black tornado wheels. Super performance brake pack.

Sweet, congrats! I know that feeling of waiting for an out of state delivery. Let us know when it arrives safely!

No, not really. I'm only looking. I looked at the F-Type for nearly 2 years. I think the local dealership got tired of me visiting. I'm sure more than a couple salesmen were surprised when I actually placed an order.

I think I ended going to 4 jag dealerships and two other car dealerships in 3-4 months and then ended up out of state to get it!

worth the wait and repeated visits to get the one I wanted.

It is always worth the wait to get what you want. I wanted a solid top coupe and couldn't locate a new one anywhere in the country. A local dealer told me he didn't think they were available without the glass top. That cinched it. I ordered my own build. Very glad I did. It took 4 months to arrive. Plus I got the color I wanted.

Eric, you could drive it for a couple of months before getting the wheels and you'll feel like you got another new car. Putting the flow forged Vorsteiner 21's with better rubber on mine was the best driving enhancement I've made to any car, changed looks, grip, handling - all fantastically.

Bruce-oh I'll be driving as is for much more than a couple of months and I'll enjoy every minute of it. Until reading this forum I really gave very little thought to wheels. All the pics posted here got me thinking that some polished chrome something somethings would look nice.

Congratulation!!!

Let me know if you get tired of the black tornado wheels. I have the charcoal machined with carbon fiber inserts and want just black wheels.

I have a black convertible with the black package. So I just need all black wheels. I'm going to go third party wheels in the next few weeks if I can't find a used set of the black tornado wheels.

Feel like a little kid on Christmas eve sitting by the window waiting for Santa’s sleigh to stop here.

Congratulations again! I know you'll enjoy it. I first dreamed of owning a Jaguar back in college (let's just say a long long time ago) and can tell you the wait was worth it.

Way to go Juan, today's the day! I recall all the details of when ours arrived. It came at night, the lights on the car transporter reminded me of a carnival ride. Now i have an E+ ticket to ride, and you will too. Congratulations!
