Welcome to the forums Dave,
I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Feedback & Suggestion Centre to F-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Graham

Hi, check it out before you do because if it is like the 2016 models in Oz the maps are hopelessly out of date and effectively useless. Also the guidance seems to be on crack so it takes you the longest, most convoluted way, it is like asking your 6 year old kid what happened at school that day - be prepared for a very long and tortured journey. And then there is the process of keying in the destination - it is like cracking a riddle in the Da Vinci Code and takes about as long.
I run google maps on my phone and if I am using spotify, the voice commands come over the system which works much more efficiently that the Jag sat nav ever did. I'll get a mount for the phone and forget the car sat nav altogether.
