wanted to provide the latest list and keep this going. If something is not correct below, let me know.
Chester/Vettegood are you both flexible to go with the majority should it not be your first choice? I didnt see 15 ONLY for Chester and vettegood listed both with 17 being first choice.

Hi Watson, for vettegood, i am going for the 17mm only ( do not want trimming to have to be done) and black anodized. Prices delivered? ETA ?
i would not think the whole batch needs to be anodized since it is a individual and separate process.
their are certainly a lot of opinions here!
my understanding is with my OEM Black Cyclone wheels , 295 rear and 255 front tires with the 17mm there will be no trimming/grinding needed and there will be no problem with rear fenders scraping. Is this a correct assumption? Has anybody actually done the measurements??
I would do the measurements but do not have my car for a month, it is in for modification.
Stereo upgrade, rear blind spot monitors, front, rear and side cameras, laser diffusers, heated seats, front proximity sensors.
i have only had my car for a month and now i loose it for a month! Bummer!
everyone in the know, please feel free to chime in ! Thanks

OK, I have updated the list to show you as 17 ONLY. If the majority ends up going with the 15mm, I will take you off the list..Right now I am just trying to get as many people interested as possible and maybe we do batch of each size if we have enough. Pricing if we get a group buy of AT LEAST 10 will be $195 plus $15 shipping. Non-US shipping will likely be more and each person will confirm their shipping costs when placing their actual order. (he did tell me $15 shipping, but assume that is CONT US) The timeline will be about 1 week after all Group Buy orders have been placed and paid for. So, hypothetically, lets say we get 11 people that all agree to the same size and we all place and pay for our order by 1/15. I would assume approx 1 week until shipped plus shipping time.

OK so it looks like we will either lose vettegood or chester depending on what size we go with. I will certainly ask Lenny the question on splitting our order between 15/17 mm, but not sure he will like that.

watson 6505,
You are doing a lot of work on getting this done. Thank You. My question would be... does Motorsport have these sitting on the shelf or do they have to make them? The reason I am asking is there are a lot of people that may want 17 or 15. I personally think the 17MM for the Front and 15MM for the back is ideal for Tires 295 in Back and 255 in Front. However, I am flexible and would only go with 15MM in back and be OK with 15MM in Front if need be. I would think it should not make a difference what we buy to Motorsport. Thanks

from what I have gathered on the board and talking to Lenny, they are pretty much made to order and that is how it was handled with the previous group buys. In fact, they don't even start making them until they have the minimum number of confirmed orders (i.e 10).
I am sure you are probably fine varying the size on front and back but I think we really need to get the same size with a group buy. Now, if we had a mix of sizes that equaled about 15 total orders that may give us some flexibility in sizing, but if we only get to 10 we will likely be locked into a single size. I will go with 15 or 17 because I think I will have to trim in both cases, and if that is the case, 15 would be my preference. Just want a little bit less debris kicking up against my ceramic coating body.

Sorry, just meant to ask whether I would need any additional parts (e.g., the extended lugs) or if the kit had everything i needed to mount the wheels. Not worried about rubbing.

caviar - nothing else is needed with the 15mm or 17mm spacers. The only thing you have to consider is whether you need to trim the studs if they are hitting the inside of your wheel. These spacers/adapters have built in studs and holes for your existing studs to fit through. The spacer/adapter is attached first with the included lugs and torqued appropriately. Then the wheel is mounted to the studs attached to the spacer/adapter. In some configurations, the original studs that are holding on the spacer/adapter are sticking out far enough through the spacer/adapter that they may hit the inside of your wheel. Thus, a small amount may need to be cut off (2-5mm).
ndabunka - I want 15's because I think that is enough from an appearance standpoint and the extra 2mm is just more debris and rocks kicked up onto the side of my car. I also do not want to risk the fender bottoming out on the tire which I have read is a possibility with the 17mm. Vettegood would have to answer your question, but I think he wants to avoid trimming the studs at all cost and the 17mm seems to reduce the chances somewhat of having to trip. For my wheels, I measured the depth of the wells on the inside of the wheels and I 'think' I am going to need to trim with either the 15mm or 17mm, so its about debris and rock damage to the side of my car for me.

I'll give it another week or so to see what the final number of interested members is and ask the question. We may also lose vettegood if we go with 15, which is what most of the current list has as their first choice. The fact that there is risk of wheel well/tire contact using stock tire sizes and 17mm spacers and the fact that I think I would need to shave 17mm anyway (and some others may as well depending on their wheels) there is no benefit to the 17mm for me.
If we could get a grid like the following filled out with yes/no based upon member experience it would be AWESOME:
Wheel 15mm (wheel stud trimming needed) 17mm (wheel stud trimming needed)
Gyrodyne
Cyclone
Storm
Blade
Tornado
Rotor
Orbit
Vela
Centriguge
