Unhingd has written extensively about this product which he developed. We've teamed up with him so it can be sold, payment processed and so on without him needing to take up a sponsorship on the forum.
We're starting out with a group buy on the first 10 units, at $280, shipped to CONUS & Canada. Products will drop-ship from NE USA. There will be some lead time with the manufacturer to order them in.
Throw is reduced by 30%, installation is a pretty straightforward operation, can be done from inside the cabin.

A bit of a correction: There is one bolt that needs to be removed and replaced from under the car. It can most easily be done on a lift, but one or two folks have managed to do it on jack stands.
I did it on jack stands without an assistant. Everything is easy except that one bolt. An assistant *might* have helped, but a lift *definitely* would have.
Aside from that, this is how the shifter should have come from the factory.

Would installation affect any warranty issues? I have an intermittent vibration coming through the stick (via drive train) when engine braking from 3000+ RPM down to about 2500 RPM where the vibration begins and then it disappears around 2000 RPM. Dealer won't acknowledge until it happens every time. Even though it is becoming more regular it still doesn't happen in every gear every time. I'd hate to have them deny warranty claim based on after market shifter being installed (I still have 3 years of warranty).

That was symptom #2 of my failing original clutch as it was slowly coming apart. Are you still on the Gen 1?
They should not be able to deny warranty on that if you have a short-shifter installled, but a balky dealer can really complicate things. It's a metal rod with knobs on the ends and one in the middle. Unless it's loose it can't cause that.

Even if loose, it can't cause a vibration. That would just make the shifting feel sloppy. Also, the quality of the short shifter rod (or stick) is superior to that of the OEM shifter. The dealer tech probably won't have worked on enough of the MTs to notice that the stick is aftermarket.

I wasn't thinking it would *cause* it, but if slightly loose might make it more noticeable at the stick. Nevertheless you are correct. This is a very well made piece and works so well and is so much how things should have been that I'd forgotten I installed it.

Are there step by step installation instructions? And the other question I have is that the current shifter is rather slow. Meaning that, it takes some time on the throw for the gears to clear (kind of like my old Triumphs). I guess I'm a little concerned about a shorter/quicker shifter not being in tempo with the gear clearance. Is my concern unfounded?

The short-shifter resolves the slow shifting feel. The shifts are exactly 28% quicker and more precise. You'll love it. It resolves the poor feel that the press was complaining about when the MT was first introduced.

Pretty sure it is not Gen 1 clutch as there is zero slippage when aggressively starting from a stop (will light up the rears into 2nd gear) , grabbing gears accelerating or down shifting and punching it. The last 5 of the serial # are 32135 so I believe it is after the Gen 1 clutch fiasco. I only have 5.5k miles on it so I'll be ramping up the mileage to make sure if it does break it will do so under warranty which ends Dec. 2021.
But it does sound like the short shifter is a go. The VAP tune will have to wait.
