I have the same specs as Unhingd (32mm offset) and I'm lowered on Eibach springs (1 inch drop apparently). Mine is RWD so don't need to worry about AWD systems kicking up a fuss.

Thanks in advance
I am using 305/30 tires with a 1.5” drop. The sidewall on the 305/35 is only 0.6” taller, so with a 1”drop, your setup will extend up into the wheel well by just 0.1” more than mine, so unlikely to rub the wheel well liner. With your offset, you do not risk interference with the wheel arch lip.

Thanks Lance, as always. I'm also hoping the increased sidewall *might* help me with a bit of traction off the line. Plus, it's the only 315 width tire I can find locally, otherwise I'd have to revert to 305/30/20s (with the wider fronts to reduce a bit of understeer).

I am confused, you originally asked about a 305/35/20. Are you thinking of trying a 315/35/20 ?

There are no 315/30/20 options where I am, only 315/35/20 or 305/30/20

Ss23, my comments were based on 305/35 calculations. If you are thinking 315/35, that may be a different story.

Sorry, I just realised my original post said 305/35/20 and was causing confusion. It was meant to be 315/35/20*. I'm looking to install these

Now you’re a full 1/4” into uncharted territory. You’ll be the Guinea Pig (or test rat).

I bought these with the 43mm offset in the front and the 32mm offset in the rear. The rears looks a bit too far tucked in for my taste.

Does anyone know if the studs will fit a 6mm wheel centric spacer in case I want to install them on the rears? Thanks

There is sufficient thread to accommodate 6mm spacers. I ran those spacers on the rear with OEM wheels and 305 tires. The 15mm spacers pushed that tire out too far with the H&R suspension.

I've been following this thread since we got our 2016 base model, in Ammonite gray. She has the 18" Velas, which I feel look a little small and tucked in. The wife doesn't want to sacrifice ride comfort and impact protection (we have some crappy roads here), and I want to minimize unsprung weight. So we're going off the beaten path, and looking at 19s. I really like the size flexibility VS Forged offers in 19"; no small matter.

Those of you that have the VS Forged wheels, how do you like them so far? Have they held your love over the time of ownership? How long, and many miles do you have on them?

I'm smitten with the VS03 style that Tork and Unhingd chose, and leaning toward the hyper silver finish to accentuate the medium gray paint, bright trim, and dark window tint of our car. Would like to hear thoughts on other finishes that may look good on Ammonite, with dark windows. We don't like totally blacked out wheels; want to see the beautiful details of the craftsmanship, and have some visual pop to play off the car's brightwork.

Based off the things I've learned here, and in other threads on our forum, here's the setup I'm contemplating:

19x9" ET35 front, with 245/40-19
19x10" ET20 rear, with 275/35-19

An optional tire size for our car, but on 1/2" wider (and yet lighter?) wheels; and with what seems to be a relatively flush offset. I initially thought of ET25 on the rear; but since the wheels are x10, rather than x10.5, felt the extra offset would be okay. We won't be lowering, or running any suspension mods. Thoughts and opinions/guidance are welcomed!

No regrets, whatsoever. Still extremely satisfied with the acquisition. Worth every penny and more. I need to run some calculations to opine on your proposed offsets.

Anyone running VS03 with the stock 20" Gyrodyne wheel size/offset? I want to get some lighter wheels but don't want to change the specs of the wheels at all.

Awesome to hear! I’d greatly appreciate the offset input, once you can run the numbers. Thanks again!

I’ll get to that tomorrow morning after I’ve regenerated some brainpower.

I'm guessing a dose or two (or three or four) overnight of single malt will help?

With those specs you are pushing the front face out 20mm (Too far) and the rear 11.65mm. I would recommend no less than 40mm in front and up to 23-24mm in the rear.

Right. If you want to be smarter, better looking, and more interesting, you need to drink tequila. Stop before you reach invincibility though. That rarely works out well.

For those of you that had VS Forged wheels made for your F Type: At what point do they send the box with the colored center caps, so you can choose/decide on finish? I've searched through, looking at various finishes, but get confused by some of the finishes. It seems sometimes Brushed Titanium looks lighter, almost like a Brushed Clear...and sometimes it looks darker, almost like the Brushed DDT.

Our car is Ammonite Gray with dark windows, and does have chrome/aluminum trim. We want a finish that accents the brightwork, without being overly bright and shiny. I *LOVED* the look of Tork Monster's VS03's; but we're shopping the VS21s, which have a more complex spoke profile. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks all!
