gyrodyne alloys
Ordered the Diamond cut gyrodyne alloys as part of my options, they are as in picture, just wondering do all the gyrodynes with the cut polished face such as mine come with the grey painted background, think they would have looked better in black, not a fan of the grey on the rims IMO, but i don't think the wheels come in black surround.

Correct, they don't come in a black finish but you could always have a local vendor powder-coat them black if that's your thing. I personally think they look MUCH better with the contrast
AGREED
My car was on the lot with the SILVER Gyrodynes. I felt that the "Diamond-Cut" way a more attractive wheel and had attempted to have the dealership switch wheels for me with the dark grey ones from another car they had on their lot. While the dealership willing, it would have cost me $3,500 more more than the negotiated price which placed that approach beyond reality. I have the silver front fender & windows trim so the silver wheels actually work well but if you go the black pack, the Dark Grey Diamond cut is the better look IMHO

I'd be happy with them with the grey, it holds up better than the black IMO because black shows brake dust when the grey doesnt. I've had that style on 2 cars (v40T5 CC and the XE) and they have been my favorites. The XE can go 6 weeks between washes and you dont even know there is crud on the wheels.

Powerhouse, I can see why you want the wheels black with your exterior color. The tornado and carbon fiber wheels look great on that color. I wonder if going black on gyrodynes would make a big difference? My car is white and I have the diamond cuts. I originally was wanting the carbon fiber wheels, but couldn't pass on the car I bought. I may be able to take a crack at a photo shop type photo touch up of mine in black, but I'm not the most skilled. I'll post if I think it's even in the ball park of looking reasonable.

Mine are in boxes in my garage at work. The earlier post in this thread was from another member. Mine have a scuff on 2 of the 4 wheels, I was quoted $250 wheel to repair. I didn't think it was worth refinishing them and selling them.

Jaguny,
How bad is it? Can you send me photos to my email sreus@rbearingscorp.com? How much you want on all four?
