Default H&R wheel spacers

Can someone clarify if these wheel spacers fit an F Type please
H&R 3035634 Jaguar F-Type TRAK+ Wheel Spacers 30mm

Unfortunately, that's not a link, just the title of a link, so can't copy and paste.

If you don't lower the car, they will fit, but might look goofy since the tires will extend past the top of the wheel opening. 15mm brings the tire almost to the inside edge of the top of the wheel opening, making it perfect for lowered cars.

Thanks Unhinged but i think you got the wrong end of the stick, the 30mm size is per axle so 15mm each side.

That particular set won't work since it is a 63.3mm center bore. You'll need 63.4mm

If thats the case can i not get an engineering firm to bore out the center by another mil!!!

Not really. They can easily machine out the hole another .1mm, but you are left with a sloppy fit where the center bore of the wheel fits over the shoulder machined onto the spacer. It might work, but you might not end up perfectly centering the wheel, which could be a real problem at 186 mph (vibration).

I really wish someone would try some wheels or hubs that are off by one tenth of a millimeter... Does it REALLY make a difference?

One TENTH of a Millimeter? The thickness of an average human hair...

I really doubt it will make a difference.

I bet you could heat it up in the oven and slide those right on. You'd have an interference fit and they'd be nice and snug.

I'd be less concerned with the press fit between the space and the hub than I would be with the slop fit between the wheel and the spacer. At lower speeds won't matter a bit. At top speed might be interesting.

Depending upon the machine shop, 0.1 mm (0.00393 inches) might just be within engineering tolerances...

Well we will see wont we, i actually ordered these the beginning of the week.
If they fit brilliant if not they'll go back, at the end of the day the co said they fit our cars!!

Actually, your link said they were for the XF, which like other Jaguars prior to the F-Type had the 1mm smaller bore.

The link also specifies that the wheel studs will need to be shortened just like the 15mm spacers in the group buy here. Unhingd has a set on his car. They had the correct bore for the F-Type.

They can be ordered for approximately $225 a set vs. $342 (based upon the exchange rate in your link).

Foosh, it''s not 1 mm smaller, it's 0.1 mm smaller. I wonder if someone didn't measure of my ONE TENTH of a MILLIMETER and they should be the same!

Yep, just a typo, thanks.

I've often wondered why some models show a 63.3mm spec and the F-Type 63.4. I also have a hard time imagining that this difference is not just measurement round-off error.

Are longer wheel studs available so the original be swapped out to fit both a spacer and the rim?

That might involve even more work than grinding off 3mm from each of the studs. Keep in mind, there is perhaps 8mm of smooth surface at the end of the studs, so you aren't actually grinding into any useful thread. If you have a real grinder, it should go quickly. In my case, I only had a hand drill and grinding bit which made the job arduous.

No grinding involved and fit like a glove, only fitted one so far but when ive fitted all of them i'll get some pics up.
