Hands free voice quality really poor
When my wife calls me from her F-Type voice quality is atrocious. It sounds like she’s calling from a 1970s London phone box in rush hour. Handsfree audio quality from her previous Velar, F-Pace and my Defender is excellent by comparison. Does anyone else have this issue? Initially I thought it was due to the wireless CarPlay hub she uses but having switched back to hardwire cable the voice quality is no better. Incoming audio quality is very good. The other thing I noticed is that the turn signal noise is very loud on The receiving end.

I have a 2016 R model and say I think the bluetooth is the worst of any car I have ever owned. People sound distant and I cannot seem to hear 90% of what they say. I will say I have not spent much time trying to mess with it but believe there is minimal you can do to increase the volume of the call. I inevitably kick it back to my phone and just use that which I know I shouldn't while driving but again it seems to suck unless I am missing something as well.
