Default Have you guys customized the modes away from stock defaults?

If so, why did you change and why?

In dynamic mode, I had originally disabled the dynamic throttle response because it was too difficult to shift without excessive clutch slippage. Now that they installed the updated clutch, I have put dynamic mode back to the factory default. Given that I have an MT the car has no other mode options. Permanently in both sport and manual mode.

I expect nothing less from the "terminally unhinged".

If I remember I sometimes turn off the throttle in dynamic to save gas but I like the other settings on.

I always drive in dynamic mode, but always have dynamic throttle response disabled. With the manual transmission, I don't see that it is ever better. It's a deception to make the engine feel more powerful, but all it's doing is making the last bit of pedal travel largely useless. I don't even see it as better for anything, really, regardless of transmission.

If you have the upgraded clutch, the dynamic throttle setting makes it far easier/faster to blip the throttle for a seamless double clutch downshift. Dynamic throttle use with the old clutch resulted in routine slippage during an upshift.

I have played a bit but tbh I don't notice enough difference to make it worth it and certainly not noticeably better so they are all on default now. I think four options standard, sport, dynamic, dynamic plus sport, (5 if you include rain/snow mode) is enough.

Of those, the MTs only get standard and dynamic (and rain/snow), but don't forget DSC TrackDSC and DSC off.

I'll turn steering on or off (hard or soft sounds weird) as well as suspension hard or soft. Depends on my mood or the road I'm on. If I take the back way home and there is no traffic, then it's full on dynamic usually held in third gear.

Nope; I pretty much drive mine with full dynamic everything, sport engaged using the paddles and DCS either off (most of the time) or in track mode.

Default Yea, I live in the Bay, lots of heavy traffic.

soft suspension/steering/throttle unless I am out of the city is what I was thinking too. Daily city driving mode with exhaust note.

I'm always in dynamic customized as
engine and steering normal. Everything else remains in dynamic. On weekends or when out for a drive I'll move it all to dynamic.

The car rides better with the suspension in dynamic with the H&R springs.

All customized as "ON" vs factory and I drive in Dynamic mode almost all the time. If I could, everything would be set to "11." I'm Auto, so not affected by the clutch/throttle.

Dynamic mode most of the time. Long road trips I keep it in "tame" mode for gas mileage reasons. Dynamic and sport every Saturday! and Sunday! and Friday! .......ok strike my first sentence.

Hi all, new here. I usually drive in Dynamic mode all on. When the wife is with me I will turn suspension off to keep her happy.

Suddenly the lack of adjustability within modes on my base coupe seems like a good choice - with the possible exception of the better damping.

As far as I can tell it's just on or off for a particular component. Would be nice to have different levels of "on". Especially for suspension and steering input.

Mostly local driving: Dynamic only with Steering and Suspension off.
