Default Headlight Washers

Has anyone actually seen these work? Do they function when you wash the Windows?

From the manual:
HEADLAMP WASHERS
Headlamp power wash operates automatically with the windshield wash, and will only operate if the headlamps are switched on and there is sufficient washer fluid in the reservoir.
Headlamp wash operates with every fourth operation of the windshield washers, provided that 10 minutes have elapsed since the last operation of the headlamp washers.

Note: The power wash sequence is reset when the headlamps or the ignition are turned off.
Note: Headlamp power wash is inhibited when the low washer fluid warning is on.

I saw mine work last week. I was stopped and when I used the washer, I saw water coming from in front of the hood

Haven't seen mine yet. But not for a lack of trying. I looked pretty silly pushing the button and trying to run around to the front of the car.

This is easily seen while driving during darkness. Watch your headlights dim when the washers are turned on which means water running over the headlights. Helps if you have a coat of Rain-X so that the water on the windshield runs off quickly.

I am guessing most of us will never witness these washers in operation. Except during a massive snow or ice storm, I don't believe I have ever used my windshield washer more than a couple of times during the course of a drive. Unlikely I would ever take the cat into such a situation.
