Will the F-type ever get one?

Had one in my Z06 and miss it. Some people find it gimmicky but I found it to be useful especially on the track.

I agree 100%... I love the one in my 2014 Z51 Stingray and miss it like crazy when I drive my F-Type

 

+1 here as well.

My BMW and Lexus both have a HUD and I really appreciate it. That tech should be mandatory in all new vehicles, as it really helps keep people's eyes on the road.

I'm pretty sure the F-Type will never get an OEM HUD, but I'll have one in my car once the Navdy starts shipping.

 

JLR showcased their HUD tech a few months ago on YouTube..pretty cool...had "race lines". It's coming...but JLR just seems to be slow/behind (makes sense, can't compete with resources of the big manufacturers). By the time the F-Type gets HUD I'll be on to the next car :-p

 

You can have it (as an option) on the XE now, so it would not surprice me if it will be available on the F-type soon.

 

Here is the HUD in my 737-800. Had them in the F14A I flew too. Very very cool.
Wish they were in more cars but suspect there may be a liability issue there, lowest common denominator and all.
