Default Help diagnosing AC/fan noise (video attached)

Hi everyone, new member here. I have a 2017 FTR coupe. Recently started to notice a high-pitched high-frequency whirring noise that seems to be originating from the passenger dash/glove box and center console area. The noise is only there when the climate control is on, and only goes away when the climate control is completely off. It is also present when the car/engine is turned off but the AC/fan is still on. It is also there when the AC is turned off, but the fan is on at any speed. It’s basically there whenever the fan is running. Please see attached video (I do toggle the climate control on/off so you can hear the difference). I’m thinking of taking it to the dealer as it’s still under warranty, but will probably defer it a bit due to COVID. Any thoughts in the mean time? Is this actually normal noise? Perhaps the rest of you have this as well... I had not notice it in the past and find it quite annoying. Many thanks.

I can just hear it, I think!
High pitched squeal? If so I had that. The dealer changed the HVAC fan under warranty. It has started to happen again but it’s intermittent and when I took it back to the dealer it didn’t make the noise. So I’ll just have to wait until it is constant.

Yes, sounds like a bad fan motor bearing. New fan needed.

Ok, sounds like it's not normal behaviour then... really getting on my nerves since I mostly drive without any music/audio on.

Update - I went to the dealer and they diagnosed it as a faulty "blower fan". Will be having it replaced in the near future. Will let everyone know if the noise goes away after.
