Help on pricing
I'm in Sacramento, CA. I found a V6 coupe with a MSRP of $79k. The dealer showed the invoice which listed it at $73k. He's willing to split the difference, and sell it at $76k. I'm guessing that's not a very good offer... but don't really know. What should I hold out for? There's also a used F-type R with 4500 miles that's listed at $98k. What would be a good offer for that one? Thanks.

On the R, which is used, their used price is very high. They are asking what they probably sold if for originally. I'd offer 88K and be prepared to walk away.

Your dealer is not very aggressive on pricing.

I'm happily married to my convertible, but I'm curious as to how and where you got such a great discount.

Jag deal and JCNA deal can't be taken at the same time (They are both JLR incentives that can't be stacked). However, either is on top of the dealer negotiated discount.

The Jag cash incentive of $3000 is good until the end of March. The JCNA discount of $2500 and the Jag discount are mutually exclusive. You can get one or the other, but not both.

For a 2015 MSRP of $79k you should shoot for a 6320 discount (8%) plus taxes & plates (est. 6.5%) and then take back the 3000 from JLR. Out the door ~ $74500. Of course, my assumptions may be all wrong.
