Help with small engine part
I just got done changing my oil and filter on my 2015 F Type V8S and somehow broke the hose in question that is pictured. I must have applied pressure with any hand or something and didn't even realize it. Does anyone know what it is and how to go about replacing it? Or is there some type of clamp or heat resistant really strong tape that will solidify around it to repair it? If I did it I can imagine it's not that uncommon (hopefully).Looks like it *should* be basic but I'm not super mechanically inclined. Thanks in advance

hose needed
Dbleoh,
The hose in question is P/N T2R5910 and goes for about $41.00. It's labeled as an overflow hose When upgrading the intercooler, I found that many of the hard plastic hoses become very brittle. The connector portion are also prone to breaking.
Another concern in looking at the photo you provided is the larger plastic pipe that the overflow connects too. Those are prone to leaking at the seams and can cause an engine to fail do to overheating. If you have any questions, please let me know

If I do have to replace the entire thing, is it a somewhat easy plug-and-play type fix?

Thanks for the reply! So I'll probably have to buy the entire part to replace it correct? I can't just buy a seal that would go around it to keep it in place? to keep the hose together?

Mine cracked and split right where yours has broken a few years ago so I bought a new one and fitted it. I thought it would be a bear to fit, mainly the two connections of the two thin tubes at that end, but it wasn't that bad, you just need a flat blade screwdriver to help fit and "push connect" the longer/bottom tube.
When I removed the old cracked tubes the two end/thin ones were like uncooked spaghetti, extremely brittle, and almost crumbled in my hands, and the two end fittings broke apart when I tried to pull them out, so yours is probably like that by now and due to be replaced anyway.
