Default High School Reunion

You’ll make a hell of an entrance (and exit) with a car that looks as good, and is as loud as an F-Type R Coupe.

More than any other car on sale today, an F-Type coupe says “you’ve arrived.”

While I "get it", does anyone still go to high school reunions? I've never been (and don't intend to). Passing someone else's [current] high school...that I totally get. Make that any school. Make that anywhere....

Went to my 10th, 20th and 30th. 40th is still 7 years away. Had a great time. Don't live anywhere close to my hometown, so this is the only time I see a few friends. But I still keep in touch with a number of high school friends - two of them have ridden in my F-type. (One of those is a State Trooper!)

That answers my question. (And always nice having a State Trooper - or local officer of the law - as a friend ).

Not sure that's a good thing or a bad thing? Speaking as a happily married man - whose wife this morning not only enjoyed the ride to work in the F-Type immensely but blasted the stereo (one of those without any problems whatsoever) - if I'm waking up to anyone other than my wife, that's definitely a bad thing. A VERY bad thing. Unless it's my dog.

Don't you mean IN my F-Type? (in other words, wife kicked me out of the house).

Default Citroen SM

Interesting the Citroen won. I'd figure more on a Ferrari or other exotic if you wanted to impress people. We had one of those when I was growing up. Surprisingly good looking even after the US DMV kind of screwed up some of the key features (like the active headlights). I can see the i8, Tesla, Mustang and Audi. Volvo (dork), VW Baja Bug (which screams loser), MB (which screams "old guy"), and Alpha (a lot of folks my age have really bad memories of Alphas) not so much. Instead of that last lot I would have said XK-E, Classic Z-28 Camaro, Aston Martin (any), and any current generation convertible exotic. All of those cars inspire envy in most age groups.

I only went to my 10th HS reunion. I recall telling my wife: "It's amazing how much older those people have gotten."
