High speed belt noise 2.0t 300ch

Hi all,
I have a problem on my Jaguar F-type from 12/2020, it's a phase 3 with the 2.0T 300HP engine (please don't insult me
).
At high speeds (beyond 170, 180 km/h) there is a belt noise. The noise is present when I accelerate hard, or when I climb very gradually towards this speed. I tried with the air conditioning, and without the air conditioning, it doesn't change anything. And the noise is not systematically present (even in 90% of cases). This noise is located I would say in the center of the central console under the windshield bay.
Have you heard this before and do you have a solution to suggest?
Thank you in advance for your valuable advice.
William

Yes it's a coupe. It's strange the noise really comes from the front, behind the central vents I would say. between the engine and the windshield bay.
Then maybe the translation is bad but I understand in your answer that you are talking to me about the trunk. rear hatch = trunk window seal ? or my translator is bad?

Correct. Here’s a post that discusses it, though they call it a flapping sound. My memory was I heard a recording similar to yours for this issue, but I could be wrong.

Other reports of odd sounds like that are related to side mirrors, supercharger belt (which you don’t have), or perhaps a vacuum leak? If it’s actually belt noise, then perhaps a problem with an idler pulley or the belt itself?
And welcome to the forum!

Yes, it's really a belt or pulley noise which stops as soon as I go down in speed and which starts again when I go back above 170-180km/h. It's not a parasitic rolling noise.
She's due to go to Jaguar in a week but they seemed to say they'd never seen this before so I wanted to try and guide them![Frown](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
