Default Hole in interior of convertible top

Hi I just purchased a 2018 F-Type 400 Sport and noticed there is a round hole right in the middle of the convertible top on the inside. Is there something supposed to be covering this? Thanks for the help!

Do you mean, in the center of the top's header rail?

Yes, there is supposed to be a round plastic cover that snaps into that spot. Sounds as if a previous owner manually unlatched the roof with the tools stored under the passenger footwell.

If you are lucky, you will find the cap under the seats.
