Mina appear to have honeycomb style in stainless, for both shapes of hood vent, see here:
Jaguar - F-Type - F-Type Exterior Items - Mina Gallery Inc
Not exactly cheap mind you!

The mesh vents were, to my knowledge, only ever found in black.
I changed my standard mesh vents for "bright" (call it chrome if you want) because the mesh was allowing the sun to bleach the parts underneath. It was just the engine cover but I wanted to remove that. I didn't want any plastic hose fittings to become embrittled and crack.
I'm not normally a chrome kind of guy, but on a very dark car, hood vents and side vents as the only bright accents is acceptable (wheels are silver or brake dust color depending on time since last cleaning). The mesh probably vents more heat, but I could toss the cover into storage with impunity with the others. I got one on eBay, matched it with one from the dealer. Yeah, I paid too much. In the Grand Scheme, I've got bigger issues over which to lose sleep. Like work. They're busting my chops, and the F-Type is my sanctuary.

I thought the black honeycomb bonnet vents looked cheap and so replaced them with the chrome vents which match the side vents. A much more coordinated put together look in my estimation. On my silver car they make for a nice highlight instead of the cheap black honeycombs which look like another JLR shortcut.

If anyone is interested you can see both the Mina Gallery mesh hood and side vents on a Polaris White car in my post earlier today by enlarging the After picture of the car:

Old thread rehash - are the Mina vents the all black powdercoat option on your pic?

One additional thing about going with what I will call "real" hood vents (i.e., a hood vent that has enough open area to actually do some venting of the engine compartment). I was a bit concerned originally about water getting into the engine compartment while driving and or sitting at stop lights. The first few times I got caught in some big storms I was a bit wigged out and when home would pull into the garage, pop the latch on the bonnet to immediately inspect the damage. Only to find not a single drop of water or even any sign of wetness in the engine compartment. After doing this several times I concluded that the engine compartment in these cars are so hot when at temperature that any water entering is boiled off as steam when encountering the engine components almost immediately. Now, I am lucky that my car is garaged at home and in an under building garage at work so it hardly ever sits outside when cool, but I thought I would share this for those of you that may have the same concerns about using more open vents.

Piece of cake. Two screws welded to the back of the Supercharger plate hold it onto the wire mesh. Can easily be removed or replaced without any blemish.
