Strange behavior. When the wipers are on in a heavy rain, the AC pump turns off and the Windows fog horribly. Anyone have this problem?

I've driven in heavy rain several times and had never had that happen. Did the A/C go back on when you hit the defroster button?

No mode will turn the pump back on. As long as the wipers are on, there is no AC pump.

Been in a few heavy thunderstorms, have not noticed this issue in my 2016 F-type R.
