My CTEK for the F-Type on the garage wall as it has been for the last 6 years, in almost constant use with no issues at all: Clearly it is not sensitive to positioning: The unit shows the battery in AGM mode, fully charged and the car not having been started in more that 2 weeks (that is what the last green light signifies):

Be happy to update post #28 on this thread. But it appears I'm unable to do so. Can it be done?

I don't think this rates a new thread or even a 'sticky', but does any one know of a thread that stores/identifies corrections or qualifications to different manuals?

Dittos on the good detective work by The Eiger. I'll continue to use the plastic CTEK bracket for the wall mounting. And I have an extra shelf now for the garage that can be used in a different spot. One can never have enough shelving and hooks in a garage !
