+1. Yep, that should do it. But the way they are connected is different than any battery connection I've seen.

Ditto. I have been driving in Dynamic mode the last couple of days and have not had to touch the Eco button. Stays in Dynamic even after a restart.

Almost correct. It stays in "dynamic" mode for 6 hours between restarts.

I don't get all this angst about "eco-mode." Driving in "dynamic" or "sport" (shifter pulled to the left) modes, tapping a paddle downshift when in automatic while rolling to a stop in standard mode, or just pressing the eco-mode button, all disable it. To me, it seems ridiculous to disconnect the battery with all the other crazy easy ways to avoid it.

I've only seen that work if you restart within an hour or two. Any longer and it resets back to eco mode on start.

Mine has been left overnight and was still in Dynamic mode when fired up the next day. I was surprised the first time as I was expecting to have to set it again. pretty sure it was more than 6 hours but I'll try again and report back.

2015 F-type Convertible. 6S. Driving in dynamic mode does not automatically disable ECO mode...it still has to be shut off with the button (which I always forget to do until the damn engine shuts off at the stop sign)!

It does on my 2015 V6S Coupe (and I drive it in Dynamic Mode 99.9% of the time). Unless the Convertible is different in this regard to the Coupe, something's amiss....

It certainly does in the 2014 V6S convertible.

My conv V6 overrides eco when in Dynamic and Sport. Stays set quite awhile in Dynamic.Of course moving hand to right and pushing down with finger accomplishes same thing, not hi tech but seems foolproof!

Nope, CA V6S here and dynamic mode defeats eco mode automatically.

My 2015 V6s coupe does not disable eco when in dynamic mode. I don't have the Configurable Dynamics option so maybe that is why??

No, that is not the issue. My base model doesn't have the dynamic mode configurable option either, but "eco-mode" is most definitely disabled with it on.

Are you sure?

Yup, Eco definitely stays on. Even when in dynamic and sports mode. It even remains lit up when I am in dynamic and manual mode but I don't recall it turning off the engine when stopped. I will try it out this morning.

Like I, and others apparently, said...something is amiss. (Drove in to work today in my 2015 V6S F-Type, in Dynamic Mode of course, and no question ECO was off).

I have a vague memory that someone else here might have reported behavior like that. I'd ask the dealer to check it out when it's in for scheduled maintenance.

Does your car have Configurable Dynamics?

I plan on bring this up when I go in for a service but for sure I can confirm for my car eco stays on in dynamic mode. I can also confirm, based on my ride in to work, that although the eco button stays lit when in dynamic and manual mode it does not turnoff the engine when stopped. However when I took the car out of manual mode by holding the paddle the engine shut off.

Yes, as part of the Performance Pack S option (listed @ $3,400).
