How much did you pay for your Jaguar F-Type R?

It is Polar I believe... it is the pure white, no silver or metalic in it. Yea I was skeptical at first, because to me seemed like a few red flags...but when guy offered to take it to jag and have them do a cpo inspection and meet at audi dealer to transfer title, seemed like all was on the up and up.... so glad I decided to trust him....had my banker wire the money and was in and out in a less than 2 hours without a snag.

yep...drove the car home. About a 13 hour drive, I broke it up into two days, but some gorgeous scenery. Going thru the mountains in Idaho was a bit scary with a snow storm on summer tires in that car, but after a few butt puckers, made it. Car was in perfect condition, even has paint protection film around the whole thing. So far very happy with it.

I do the car club drives with her 2x month with end of the month drive usually being around 150 miles round trip. Would like to drive her more, but also have to keep 3 other cars happy. COVID-19 work from home limits miles on all of them.

It is funny how it works. WFH perks versus being a car enthusiast.. I don't know why I am in such a rush to buy when we never even drive these days.. Your post definitely brings me back to reality.

[QUOTE=COFTR;2354907]As some of you may know, I am actively looking for a F-Type R and I was curious as to what the prices people are paying or paid. I tried to search for recent iterations of this type of thread but couldn't find anything up to date. It may be good to have a consistent format so it's all relative, something like:
Year and Month purchased: 2020/Aug
Model year of F-Type R: 2016
List Price ($): 58,000
Purchase price ($): 54,000
Where it was purchased: Chicago
Used or New: Used
Miles if used: 9457
Private sale/dealership: Dealer/Orloff Jag (great experience)
Any other options, packages, or variables that impacted the price: Glacier White, Heated Windshield, Treadplates, Extended Leather, Vision Pack

That is where I bought my car. My cousin is the sales manager and knew I was looking for an F Type R.

Well the used car market has went up significantly due to the low supply of new cars and disgustingly easy money made from stock market and stimulus spending, you bought at a great time for sure. Is the sale of your car no longer listed on BAT? I do not see any F Type R's sold on 7/1/20. Is the $48k after the fees from BAT?

It still on the site, if you do a search for Jaguar F type R 15 results come up, its in there. Waited a long time for a low mileage example, actually bid on the red R that was sold on 7/26/19 but good a bit too high for me. Paid a BAT service fee on top of the winning bid of $2413. Its a great site, lots of top class cars on there. F type's on a regular basis nowadays.

I will convert from € to $ , I will try to be as close to reality as possible, keep in mind that in France we got something called an " Ecological Penalty / fee" So if i were to buy a brand new f type R it would cost me around 185,710$ yeah, this "fee" is based on the CO2 emission of the car, it was 20000€ last year and they raised it to 30000 this year, Anything above 352,446 grams/mile is instantly marked with the 30k€ tax
Year and Month purchased: March 2021
Model year of F-Type R: 2016
List Price ($): New - $130k, Used - $79k
Purchase price ($): $74k
Where it was purchased: dealer here in my region selling Aston,Porsche,Ferrari,Jags
Used or New: Used
Miles if used : 28583
So yeah cars a bit more expensive on this side of the Ocean, and sadly there are less and less people buying brand new cars from local dealers since you can just wait a few months and buy one imported from Germany.
