Default how warm should heated steering wheel feel?

It was a bit cool out last night so I turned on my heated steering wheel for the first time. I feel like I can barely feel any heat coming off of the wheel. The most heat is on the flat bottom portion but even that is barely warm. The 10 and 2 position feels no warmer than putting your hand on your forearm. Is this how all the Jag heated steering wheels are? My lexus gets nice and warm to the hands which is great on a cold morning.

Mine gets pretty warm. Even on really cold days, after 15 minutes or so I turn it off because it is plenty warm.

Interesting. Wondering if there is something wrong with mine then. There isn't an adjustment in the settings or anything for the steering wheel heat, right?

Same here. Plenty warm, even with top down in cooler weather, no issue with it.

It doesn't have any temperature adjustment, just the simple on-off switch. It is NOT part of the climate control circuitry.

Ok, there must be something wrong with mine then. I'll have to take it in before winter. I've had several vehicles with this feature and its noticeably less than all of them.

Yeah, sounds like yours is broken - you should feel lots of heat all round the wheel. I wouldn't say mine gets too hot to hold, but it's definitely hot!

See if the dealer will let you compare another F's heated wheel with yours.
