Hydro dipping or water dipping seems to have many followers.

Dont think ive ever seen a part that was covered this way, thinking potentially of doing the underbonnet parts in my range rover as they just look so dull, potentially underbonnet covers in our f type

would welcome any opinions on this process. I understand they coat with lacquer post dipping

does it last, does it resist heat, does it fade in sun etc
