I have been after one in my dreams, and been scouring the classifieds for about a year. That example is just so far off the mark price/mileage wise.

Here in the UK folk are flipping them for upwards of £160K for examples with just 50 miles on them. They were £135K new.

Whilst I would really like to have one, I just think it would be even more impractical than my already impractical V8R cab ;-)

Sounds like a case where they'd sell it if anyone was willing to pay that much, but they're happy to keep it.

I believe the badge means 1 of 250 built rather than #1 off production line. Saw it in person and asked that same question.

In the UK they seem to have initially appreciated by approx. 3.8% since launch.

Anyway, the appreciation figure is obviously pretty variable, based on miles, colour, limited option choice, c/w Speedline model, helmets etc. etc.

In your opinion Zach, what is the P7 likely to do in the coming decades price wise?

Try as I might, I just couldn't stretch to the original asking price...my business had done well enough to just about afford the V8R, I shouldn't have regrets, but a do kick myself when I see the beautiful Blue and BRG P7's.

They all say "1 of 250"

My McLaren says "1 of 50"
My DB9 bond edition says " 1 of 50"

and the Vantage V12S 7sp says " 1 of 100"

my serial number is 9056 so I would guess I have # 56 off the line, but I am only guessing.

P7 doing great, only was able to put on a few hundred Km's this past summer, looking forward to spring to be able to get back out on the roads.

The Vantage V12s 7 speed dog leg manual is sitting at the dealer waitiing for spring to arrive.

We are all doing quit well, setting up the new home in just outside Calgary.

any talk of a 2017 Lobster run???

Time will tell, but I suspect that the P7 will hold its value and may even have some appreciation. All depends on what JLR has in its plans for the F Type. if the SVR is the top of the line, then should do quite well. If they start coming out with 600HP or higher engines, then the P 7 could fade away.
