So what happened to that Corvette C8 purchase ? A car like a Ferrari for half the price ? When I saw the C8 on YouTube I wished I was 30 years younger, but with the money I have 30 years later ? Here's what our UK magazine 'Autocar' wrote about the C8

Having owned 3 different Corvettes, I looked forward to the new mid engine car. I placed an order with a dealer in Atlanta and began following its progress. The C8s started appearing on the street. I talked to several owners and started hearing some who were not as impressed with the car as the hype (fit, finish, service from dealers, performance, etc.). Also like other Corvettes, I was beginning to see a C8 on every block. While I don't want to be the 'only kid in town' with a car, I don't like to see myself coming and going. Decided to look at other options. One was a Lexus LC 500, the other was a return to an F-Type. After looking long and hard, and comparing 'bang for buck', I found several F-Types that fit my requirements, and ended up getting this one in West Palm beach, Fl.
So far, so good.

Thx. I am looking at this existing connector I found under the trunk liner. Looks like I can connect the CTEK in and leave it in place, only needing to plug in an extension cord when I want to set it for maintain.

Welcome back! Congrats on your new F-Type. I installed the quick disconnect, which has made it easier to deal with the problems caused by OBD connections and battery drain. Here are the instructions, taken from another thread on this forum:

Enjoy your new wheels!

2. On the coupe (not your issue) you may have to reprogram the hatch. (manually closing the hatch automatically does that)
3. The auto-up window feature may need to be reprogrammed.
a) lower the window.
b) raise the window by holding the switch in the up position.
c) once in the up position release switch and then hold it up again for 2-3 seconds.
d) repeat on the other window
