;-)

As a pre-stage to setting up the remote control "claws out mode" stuff I wanted to see what pulling fuse 15 was all about...Yeah, as Sassy Sarah has said on here a 1000 times, not sure why you would want to experience the car any other way than with everything fully open like that. It's a beautiful thing for sure. Wow.

I wasn't even coming after it hardly at all on account of break-in considerations, and it was still quite a dramatic difference. The break-in period is gonna be painful ;-)

I still like the idea of having the eMylo device, or equivalent, in play for the "claws out mode" stuff, as it at least gives the valves an opportunity to move from time to time, not seize, etc...That and some slightly more respectful cold starts on early mornings when required...Beyond this stuff, I see me in claws out mode every time I'm in the car really...Pretty awesome!

And I lost an hour dropping one of those gosh darn plastic screws for the cover over the fuse box into and under the engine. Thunder Dump literally just reminded me of this pitfall recently in some private messaging between us around this stuff, and I've seen people on here mentioned a bazillion times to be careful of that...lol

It was like it was meant to happen...What a pain...An hour later with the engine cover removed I managed to fish it out ;-)

Lesson learned? Probably not, that is pretty finicky I find...lol

I waited 4 months for JLR to supply replacement pins/screws after I lost one irretrievably down the engine compartment.
They are awkward to get out.
Finally realized i could buy a bunch for $5 on Ebay.
They seem standard for JLR vehicles though they do come in 2 different diameters.
Now, I have spares against future losses!!

Yeah, it is surprisingly awkward. Had to actually do it to realize…lol

Good tip about EBay, probably a few bucks cheaper for sure. Hopefully I can develop some sort of fool-proof technique to remove the screws ;-0

Yeah the only time I want the valves closed are cold starts during the early/late hours so to not **** off the neighbors. I'll probably make one of the claws out thingy just for that. Other than that fully open all the time is the way to run it.
