InControl Remote Start Issue

I have used remote start frequently but this was a new one. Went through the remote start process, all seemed OK and I put my phone in my pocket, not looking to see if it completed. When I went to the car a minute or so later it had not started. So I started it, drove a few miles, maybe 10 minutes, and turned it off and locked it (so I know it was not running then). A couple of minutes later my friend said he thought it was running. Sure enough, the connection had finally been made and it started remotely. Had he not noticed, it could have run for several hours. I guess the lesson is to make sure the remote start session has closed, even if the car did not start.
From searching other threads I did see that there could be an issue with "deep sleep" since I had not driven the car in three days. I suppose that driving it may then have reset the remote process but it is still something to be aware of.
