Infortainment slow to start
I did a search but wasn't able to find much.
Car is a 2018 400Sport w/ the 8 inch screen.
Recently, my infotainment unit screen does not activate for almost 2 minutes after I start the car. No logo, no backup screen nothing. When it does come on it operates normally. Anyone have a similar experience or a clue to a possible cause?
Thanks.

Since I was in the car anyway I tried to see if the problem persists on hot start.
When hot starting the car the infotainment boots instantly.

This problem has seemingly arisen out of the blue. It's been more than a year since the dealership has seen the car and my indy doesn't attempt any firmware/software updates. The problem here seems to occur with every cold start rather than being an intermittent problem.

Jamal, as others have told you, the problem is probably, almost certainly, the battery. You have in fact confirmed this by saying that a few minutes after the engine is running, the screen activates - that is because the alternator has started (but just started) to replenish the drain caused by the starter motor and other modules. You further confirm it by telling us that when the engine is hot, the screen activates immediately - which in context means that after the engine has been running and the alternator has had a chance to do its job to some extent, the modules are getting enough power to boot up.
These cars (and all module-rich modern cars) depend on full battery power. This is why EVERY luxury car manufacturer from Aston Martin to BMW to Mercedes to Bugatti to Maserati to Cadillac to Bentley to Rolls Royce to…(you fill in others), every one of them markets the CTEK battery maintainer under their own label. If you are not using your F-Type frequently or regularly for longish distances, get a CTEK (or other) battery maintainer (not trickle charger) and USE IT when the car is not in use. The result will be a fully charged battery always, and no electronic issues.
The number and the variety of issues caused by insufficient battery power is simply shocking to the owner unaware of this.
And someone will answer that he/she has never needed to use a battery maintainer - but that is because his/her pattern of use is sufficient to keep the battery above the problem-causing thresh-hold. And the fact that your battery is still young means very little. On installation it was not fully charged and quite possibly has never been fully charged yet.
Please let us know what happens after the battery has been fully charged.

Mine took hours or days to turn on, then it would work for the rest of the day until the next day and it got worse. Dealer could not fix it. I finally bought an identical unit from eBay with a broken screen. I swapped out the inverter board which is the board up against the screen and everything worked perfectly. Turns out it was a tiny component called a thyrister which is like a latching relay that had bad solder joints. Once it turned on, it stayed on until the capacitors drained. Good luck. New screens are thousands and have to be programmed. You can get one for EBay for $50.

Some progress...
Three days of extended highway runs have led to noticeable improvement. The problem hasn't disappeared completely but after the latest run the screen started to respond before I powered up the car. That leads me to believe that the battery is the culprit. Will likely proceed with the trickle charge.
