anyone know how effective this is

Hi. We have it in our XE, I think they always pair it withg the HUD. We have had the car over the summer (up to 35 celsius) and it isnt as though you think "wow, this is soooo much better than a normal windscreen" but I would say that my missus used to complain about sunburn on her hands in her v40 CC, but she doesnt complain about it in the XE. So maybe it is effective.

It doesnt stop the car from getting scorching hot if you park it with the windcreen facing the sun. In fact it got so hot we couldnt touch the rotary shift.
