jag is now color coordinating the hood grill on current R cars. No longer are the grilles the contrast color.
My local paint supply company makes spray paint in oem colors so I think I have a new project abrew.
I like the clean look of the louver match with only the inner grill black. Lends to a much cleaner looking trunk.

I like the color matched grill with just the black mesh underneath. What I meant to say earlier in this post was that I'm going to paint my grilles factory Polaris white and mask off the mesh.
In fact I may do the same to the chrome side fender grilles as well! Mine are unfortunately chrome as the car does not have the black pack.
I've painted over chrome many times. The procedure is easy...
1. Scuff chrome with red scotch pad.
2. Spray scuffed chrome with epoxy primer.
3. Spray color.
You can get factory color spray cans on eBay for about $30 a can! Run a search for your technical color.
