Default Interior lights

Out of blue my interior lights in the rear view mirror mount do not come on when opening the doors (MY2018).
They do work all 3 when swiping in front of the IR sensors.
Any ideas? Could I have deactivated unintentionally and how to fix?

Try the usual fix - press/touch the central light for 2-4 seconds until the lights flash twice.
This is the interior lighting reset procedure.

This morning, after 2 days, everything went back to normal without surgery. I do hope this is the first and last Gremlin I spooked away.

just tried this on mine and yes they do flash and I assume ‘ reset’. However when did it become a requirement for vehicles to need to reset interior lights and what actually changes in a reset? - just curious.

Not a requirement and I don't know of any other car brand which does the same, although all Jags have been like this since around 2008 I think.
With Jags it's just that any time you pull one of the interior globes (for example to replace it) you have to do this reset before the interior lights work properly again, that is they turn on when you open a door and turn off (after a delay) when you shut the door.

I don't think it's a 'reset', it just switches the lights between coming on when the door opens vs. not coming on.
