You can also tune V6 for 450 HP if you prefer the older design and/or sound and not need warranty.

Your comment about tech is so true. If you are buying a car to keep the tech is less relevant. Focusing on the fundamentals of the car is more important. Tech will be out of date in a couple years, regardless of what you get. Speed, power, performance, and design will be relevant for the life of the car, and your time with it.

The tech in the F-type is completely fine for me because I also could care less about it more generally. My buying this car literally had nothing to do with the tech is had or was missing,
