Love the red '21 in the pictures. With yours (me being a bit obsessed with wrapping) I'd wrap the bottom of the rear diffuser - the strut arrangement under the finisher. I'd also see if the bonnet scoops would look good wrapped in gloss black. It's looking great. How did you do the rear leaper?

JonnyM, In July I bought a '21 that's virtually identical to your car. I absolutely love it.
Regarding the styling update, my dealer had a virtually identical '20 with a $10k discount - I didn't even waver - the 21 is that much nicer.
There are a lot of posts from people who don't like the update but they all seem to be from owners of the old cars - much the same as the comments from C6 Corvette owners when the round tail-lights went away on the C7. It's a mental process. Convince yourself that the new look is ugly and that way you can drive past the dealership without wanting to go in and trade up.
I had a C6 Grand Sport and loved the round tail-lights on that car but it didn't stop me from trading it in for a C7. BTW, the Autoweek poll regarding the styling update was running 4 to 1 in favor of the new look. US F-Type sales declined the last couple of years. Hopefully the update will attract more buyers.
About the exhaust - I have no experience with the earlier models but talk of the valves staying closed below 3500 RPM on the '21 - that's not the case unless you don't push the button.
If you push the active exhaust button after you start the engine - nothing seems to happen but the valves open immediately when you put the car in gear.
The car does start up quietly, but you can remedy that. When you get in, hit start before you put your foot on the brake, the turn off stop-start and turn on exhaust, then put your foot on the brake and finally start the engine - it's glorious.
When driving around with the valves open, just moderate throttle from stop and the car leaps ahead with a wonderful growl, putting you way ahead of traffic in a blink. The car loves to do that. It's an absolute hooligan. It never gets old.
For a whole other experience, put the trans in sport and switch to dynamic - that turns the car into a holy terror.

Does turning off stop-start really make a differnce when starting the car? I will try it later, have a 2020 V6, so it's not as quiet as the new model, but a bit quieter than the old ones without GPF.

I recommended turning off the stop-start because I assume it annoys everyone as much as it annoys me. It doesn't make any difference when you turn it off, I just like to have it part of a routine so I don't forget.
I understand the active exhaust changed for '21. Up through '20 the valves were open at startup and then closed. Corvettes with vacuum actuators were that way. A lot of people like that but some don't want to wake the neighbors.
Maybe somebody who knows could clarify but the '21 behavior suggests Jaguar switched to electrical actuators. In any case, if you hit the switch before starting the engine, the '21 will act like earlier models.

Apart from at startup, if the valves now open at tickover when you switch the exhaust on that's different from the early models - in those the valves only open at tickover in dynamic mode. In non-dynamic with the switch on the valves open around 1500 rpm. In any mode they always open around 3500 rpm.

At least to me, the headlights have declined with each update. The 16-17 have brilliant very unique headlights that are suited for an exotic car. The 18-20 models took one step back with their update and the 21 models look much too generic for my taste. I would imagine most people would view the 21 model updates as a success (slightly better interior, digital dash, etc) if they had simply gotten the headlights correct. Of course....making the cars quieter is another weak decision...at least in my view.
