As I was driving my car indicated an incoming call from my number. There was no call but it locked me out of all the screen controls, cut the radio off and didn't even allow me to reset the dash screen back to the info widget.

I assumed this was yet another electrical glitch from the car and went to take a photo for the benefit of the dealership but could not as the camera would not focus. If I turned the Bluetooth off, the car returned to baseline but every attempt to reconnect the phone locked the car dashboard up.
The phone seems to be working fine and history tells me that apple builds reliable electricals whereas Jaguar, well need I say more.

Car, phone or a combination failure, has anyone else experienced similar?

 

Given that I have had two anomalies with the infotainment display, I would question the Jag more than your phone. But I have not been able to duplicate my problem so there is little point in trying to get it fixed.
