More on JLRs future plans. The article does mention the F-Type is still selling well.

1. The F-Type is selling well? Compared to what? 2024 F-Types that I was looking at before I bought mine last month are still sitting on dealership lots, sadly.
2. JLR's NA President mentioning that the F-Type ended production last year seems to be in conflict from other news sources that it ends production this June or sooner. Maybe he meant for the production for the north America market?

The dealership where I bought my 2024 R has moved a surprising number of F-types through their showroom over the last year and a quarter. When I first went in there as part of considering my purchase they had literally something like 8 or 9 of them in stock. This happened to a lot of dealers in Canada. With the way multiple backlogged orders flowed in due to pandemic delays a lot of dealers had way too many on the ground. For this reason Jaguar intentionally delayed 2024 allocations for the F-type in Canada until late last year (to help give time for 2023s to clear).
I remember my wife and I thinking that they would take forever to sell them all but it was not the case.
There is another dealer in my city as well, but not sure what kind of volume they have sold.
All my dealer has on their floor now is 2 2024 Rs. Mine and one more, and apparently there are 2 people seriously considering purchasing it.

Two points:

That said, I’m pretty passionate about these cars and will be willing to deal with keeping it on the road. Life is too short not to do so if that is what you want. At least for me. But I don’t look at these cars in terms of dollars and cents first. It is a factor for sure, but not the dominant one for me.

Savor now what very few will ever have the opportunity to enjoy. And don't worry about the money. These will be highly sought after cars sometime down the road...perhaps in the 40's or 50's.
