Default Jaguar remote security issue

Hey all,
I just saw on the "Jaguar F Type Drivers Club" fb group that someone posted:
"Using my Jaguar phone app today, managed to link to the wrong car, a bit of a worry."He stated "Obviously showed the registration number and its location."

And then said "In London, 40 miles from me."
Kinda scary, what do you folks think?

Can't say I don't believe it could happen, but this is the first I've ever heard of it.

One of those times that I'm grateful to have an early '15 that has no support for any of Jaguar's connected apps. When it comes to hacking (cars included), it's only a matter of when, not if it will happen.

Scary. Glad I am in P.G. Fla. There are only 4 F-Types within 30 miles, I think?
