JLR and Brexit

For international F-type owner things just became a lot more expensive. With UK no longer part of EU, they won't benefit from various agreements and treaties and will have to pay full tariffs to sell cars outside of UK. I anticipate a number of markets where JLR might close the shop. The rest of them, both parts and cars will become more expensive.
Now, for Canada I hope they will keep the lights on, but I can see scenario playing out when JLR might pull out just like 90s-era Alfa Romeo. This will take couple years to play out... so at least until the end of warranty.

Below is an interesting summary of the manufacturers' initial reactions. Clearly they are not happy, and all suggest that the free-trade agreements that come w/ EU membership are essential to keep the UK auto industry alive. Those will all have to be renegotiated, which means an extended period of uncertainty.
