Can't stop smiling...

Named her Oz, the Emerald Dream...

2016 BRG-R
Tan inserts
Red caliper brakes

Did I mention I can't stop smiling?

What a car... Haven't been this excited about an acquisition since my 20's.

Such a blessing...

Love the BRG, saw it at Castle Bromwich factory tour after I ordered mine and almost changed my order. Tan inserts too, very nice.
Welcome to the Forum!

Congrats - you are going to love that car. I have declared it's likely the last car I will ever buy, as I doubt anything is going to be a better fit for me.

I resemble that remark!

Flinger , welcome to the funny farm. I'm trying to think where I've seen that color combo before.

Not to to worry Lance, as far as I'm concerned you're still #1. Of what I have no idea.

A lot of other people appear to think so as well, but they never seem to be using the index finger to gesture that ranking.

Hey folks - thanks for the well wishes...

And, thanks for posting on this forum. I've been 'shopping' for roughly a year now and each of you have helped tremendously through your comments.

First world problems, but I was surprised at how long it took me to figure out R vs S, then the color I wanted. Decided on the R. But, it was really my family that said, "It has to be the classic British Racing Green". I was going between Italian Racing Red, White, Blue... but, finally figured - what the heck am I doing? Just go buy one and enjoy...

It was a good decision. Can't stop smiling...

Yours are some of the best pictures of BRG I've seen. It really does look beautiful in bright sunlight. Congrats!

Thanks - I'll get some interior shots and post soon.

My daughter is a semi-professional photographer. Got the car yesterday and arrived at the house as she was leaving to take some pictures of her 2 kids with the fall color backdrop. Sooo...

Since the kids were the main attraction, we got limited pics of the car. But, the green really works with the fall colors. And, it's really hard to replicate that green in the sun or in the shade through the lens. Just better in person. But, she did a nice job.

What made you pick the R over the V6 S?

The Ridiculous Factor...

First, drove them all - Base, S, R, 2015 RWD, 2016 AWD.

Then,

1. Every time I emerged from the R, I just kept saying "That is ridiculous"
2. Every time I emerged from any of them, I just smiled - like a long finish on a fine wine
3. Every time I emerged from the R, I just laughed
4. I love the Brogue interior of the S and not available on the R. Was seriously thinking of taking form over substance
5. While smiling is good, laughing is better
6. At this price point, not going to let $10k get in the way of laughter

See what I mean? Ridiculous...

lol
