Just picked up my first Jaguar - Ftype "R" AWD Ultimate Black Metallic
I'm new to the Jaguar group. I have other cars ranging from Chevy to Lamborghini and Jaguar was never on my radar at all until the F-Type R edition. I enjoy higher hp vehicles as my Supra is around 1,700hp, Viper is around 1,200hp, etc. I can say that the F-Type R edition is an amazing machine especially for a factory vehicle. Jaguar is going to be part of my garage from now on!
I'm excited to get to know this vehicle even more and start modifying it after doing baselines at the track and on the dyno.

Sorry, just joined this forum and then life made me forget to get back on. Lol We had about 8" of snow here a few days ago, but got my Jag dropped off for paint protection right before. Roads are all good now as the Temps have been good, so will be ready to start driving this thing again soon! I told them to take their time on the PPF as they know I won't be driving it in the bad weather anyway. Thanks though, will do and so far this thing has been amazing to drive. Such an enjoyable machine!

I'll definitely be getting this thing to the track when it opens around March or so and try some different launch methods to see what works best. After that going to order the pulley and tune and then do before and after dyno pulls to see what the difference is.

Car looks great! Mine will have subtle differences soon and the entire front of the car including around the window and mirrors will have paint protection and then also the "track pack" paint protection on the rockers and rear areas. Few more things to come though soon.

The Viper is a lot of fun too...just a completely different type of machine. I fully polished my engine bay on mine but of course left a few accent pieces not polished as well.

I raced a Suzuki Hayabusa with my Viper...bike was stretched, tuned, etc, etc and he called me out so i showed. My Kawasaki H2 comes up on the first hit as my friend was riding it that night. https://youtu.be/Z1QBKD3emcE
The shine on your F is deep, the polish on the Viper is awesome

So far really liking this car! I was going to get a coupe but then I saw the convertibles actually look good with the top up or down and I decided on the convertible. This also wasn't going to be a drag car or anything either.

The Busa definitely wouldn't, my H2 (did 208.4rwhp bone stock) would be kinda close but I would go past it after the 1/8...with new slicks on the Viper it would never get ahead of me. Slicks don't last too long though if you want a really good dead hook with the power and torque it does. H2 and Viper would be a good race...now with a super light rider the H2 would do better. Might have to get my Supra out then and take care of it. Lol
