Diagnosis confirmed. They replaced and configured the KVM, and all is well. They also did the K410 (fuel canister hose) and K405 (service indicator) updates.



Is the service indicator function controlled by the ECU or some other module? I haven't lost any power, so I'm guessing it's not controlled by the engine ECU.

Service message is in the Instrument Cluster (IPC) so they would not have had any reason to touch the PCM.
