I have a number of parts on order, got caught up in holiday shut down on top of usuall delay.

They are very backed up put in 2 orders in October and only one got partially filled.

not true, there are various forged wheel options with different weights/offsets etc and I would bet there are multiple combinations of weight reduction that would provide similar performance outputs as some configurations of wheels and tires. That said, I had no intent to get into a discussion about unsprung weight and the associated performance benefits. I’ll be more careful with future posts so I don’t upset the community of unsprung weight and performance experts. I’m sure some one can also prove how adding a carbon fiber gauge bezel actually diminishes the cars ability to corner.

Could be just the web, but you're coming across like I stole your bubble gum. Your main point is spot on. These overlays will not change the performance of the car. At all.

I dare you to try and steal my bubble gum......it’s in the center console with my chapstick - both are adding more weight to my already sluggish car.

Whoa! How much does 3 or 4 flavors of pocket hand sanitizers for my wife add to sprung weight??? And hair ties/scrunchies? Carbon fiber applied overlays may be the way to go!!!

3 or 4? Might as well just drag around a boat anchor. I actually only put partially used (used by me of course) chapstick in there - the fresh ones are heavier.

FYI, that grab handle piece goes in tight, After test fit I just left it with no tape. I didn't think it was going to fit at first. Just work with it by sliding top in first. I was worried about breaking it but the stuff is tough as nails. On the other stuff I used the 3M half inch wide. The thinner the better. The hardest part was getting the backing off with my old eyes.

Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it. I tried a test fit with the grab handle and gave up. The sticky coating on the original surface was coming off in small particles and I scratched it up pretty badly trying to squeeze the part on top. I'm gonna give it another go over the weekend. The center console parts look much much easier and your pics look great, definitely encouraging me to get that done and dusted soon.

Thanks, yeah the part will go, just took a little patience. It hangs up in the bottom angle, a little coaxing got it to pop in. Was thinking some sort of lubrication may have helped too.

Center parts easy to install, paddles and ones on top of leather many dremel work required to fit them.
