Hi all,

My MY2021 F-Type R lane keep assist keeps failing on me. Don't know if anyone else has had this problem. Picked the car up in March and it failed once shortly thereafter, but it was in the dealer anyway for them to replace a scratched window that arrived with the car. I'm now around 3,500 miles and I noticed it failed again. The icon disappears, I go into the menu settings and see it's off, but when I reactivate it, the feature does not work. Anyone else run into this issue? I plan on notifying the dealer again but if there's something they aren't doing I'd like to advise them of it. I do a lot of highway driving so it's a fairly convenient feature to have for the rumbling.

 

This is fairly rare feature in F-types, as it was introduced only with redesign. You might have better luck asking on other Jaguar model sub forums, as I recall seeing it in XE loaners as early as 2017.

 

I've had my 21 since last July and the lane keeping assist has never failed in 4000+ miles.

 

Lane keeping assist was available on US models starting midyear 2018. I have an early 2018 model and mine does not have it. I saw it listed as standard for 2018 and was wondering why it was not on mine. I researched and found it was only available later in the 2018 model year.
